Beanie Sigel recently updated fans on his status amongst 50 Cent and denied recent reports of becoming G-Unit's latest member.
In addition to 50, Beans also touched on his issues with Jay-Z and why he was out supporting Fif's MySpace Music Release concert earlier this week.
"I ain't on G-Unit yet," Beanie explained in an interview. "Nah. I feel free, I feel more tension right now, you know what I mean? I feel good. I'm just gonna go out and do my thing, you know what I mean? I'm here for support, I'm here to support, that's it...I really don't care what Jay's doing, like, it ain't about what he's doing, it's about what he had done. You can't just do anything you want, I'm the bully n*gga. I do whatever the f*ck I wanna do." (All Hip Hop)
50 recently stopped early talks of Beans being signed to G-Unit earlier this month.
"I had a meeting with him today," 50 said in . "First we gotta start with the music -- where's the music? Then we have to get into what it would take to bring him over to G-Unit as a record company. You can't sign a deal in a conversation -- it's a process. We'll see what happens. I would listen to what he has. His skills haven't diminished. Nine times out of 10, he'll have something workable already on deck. When you're dealing with artists who have been established longer than you, it's a process. You have to figure out exactly where they are at before you commit to being a part of those projects, because they have habits and they've been conditioned for something different. You have to figure out exactly what that is before you dive in." (MTV)
Fif previously hinted at his desire to sign Sigel to the Unit around 2005.
"[Beanie Sigel] would have got at least $800,000 at that point to come over," 50 Cent told radio personality Miss Jones. "Jay was telling him that he didn't want to lose him. I think Jay and [Diddy] had these feelings toward me at one point I believe...Jay didn't want to do that." (Power 99 FM)
Beans talked about his working relationship with Fif in an interview earlier this week.
"I just finished rocking the MySpace sh*t," Beans said backstage at the event. "It was crazy, I came out to the stage blowing my [Newport cigarette], put my Biggie's [sunglasses] on. Hold up, where's my Biggie's at? Where's my Biggie's at? These the Biggie's, came out with my Biggie's on, know what I mean? They went crazy. And that's just the beginning, wait 'til me and 50 dig in. [laughs] This sh*t start, this sh*t finish...Don't nobody want to see us walking down the dark alleys. You don't want to see that. You don't want to see that. You don't want to see that, [shakes head], ThisIs50.com. You definitely gonna see something with me and 50 in the future, definitely gonna keep putting my foot on n*ggas' necks." (This Is 50)
