Former Ruff Ryders member Eve has marriage on her mind these days after reportedly accepting longtime boyfriend Maximillion Cooper's proposal.
While details are scarce, the British designer reportedly popped the question to E-v-e on Christmas.
Eve's love is going the distance. The singer-actress is engaged to British designer and Gumball 3000 founder Maximillion Cooper, E! News exclusively confirms. Eve's rep tells us that Cooper popped the question on Christmas Day, the sparkly evidence of which was first spied on Instagram in a photo in which she's surrounded by family--and flashing a diamond ring! A new photo of Eve flaunting her engagement ring has made its rounds online.
"#familytime!!!! Me and my mom and my lil brother Farrod just got to the English country side. Feel so #blessed to be with my family and sharing my life here. I pray that you bring 2014 in with people you #love. And nothing but #good #energy," Eve wrote December 30. (Eve's Instagram)
While they get along now, E-v-e admitted she hesitated about taking her relationship with Cooper seriously due to his four kids last May.
"I love it now. It took a minute. I was like, 'I'm not sure this is what I want to be my life.' You know? But honestly, it's been three years now and we've gone on vacations together, and they're the sweetest kids," she explained in an interview. "We talk about having kids. We talk about marriage. The kids are excited. They want a brown baby sister." (Sister 2 Sister)
Recently, the Philadelphia rapper talked about wanting to raise a family outside of the United States.
"I'd rather raise my kids globally than exclusively in the U.S. There is so much culture and history in Europe. We have culture in the U.S. but you have to look for it. A lot of the kids I've met in Europe are more mature because they've gotten to travel. In an hour, you can be in a different country. I'm going to be one of those crazy parents who wants her children to speak three languages. They're going to hate me, but they will love me for it in the end." (Complex)
