Kanye West May Be Getting His Masters After "Slavery" Contract Settlement

Kanye West legal battle with his music publisher EMI Publishing has come to an end.

The rapper, who recently hired a powerful new law firm to represent him just settled the lawsuit.

Kanye sued the conglomerate over a 2003 contract deal with the record label.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed but both parties have agreed to paper up the settlement within 90 days.

The news of the settlement comes just weeks before Kanye is slated to release his highly-anticipated album Jesus is King.

The rapper's new gospel-themed will features songs like "God Is," "Baptized," "Wake the Dead" and "Water."

According to Kanye, Jesus is King is due in stores on September 27.
