Pittsburgh rapper Wiz Khalifa spoke on his love for fiancee Amber Rose this week along with her stance toward his marijuana habit and what is currently bubbling with perceived rap nemesis Waka Flocka Flame.
First focusing on Rose, Khalifa admitted he has not won her over when it comes to weed smoking.
"It's gonna be as traditional as possible, but I like that word far out too [for our wedding]. It's gonna be a far out wedding. We can't do it too normal. There'll be like a giraffe or something," Khalifa said. "[Weed smoking?] She's like, 'Get it away.' She doesn't hate it, but she will not do it. She'll roll it, she loves how it smells... She just doesn't want to get high 'cause she don't want to feel that." (Hot 97)
He also took a moment to speak on the perceived tensions between him and Flocka.
"I don't say anything directly to anybody. I could go out and say I never intentionally sent any ill will his way. I don't believe in rap beefing. I don't believe in the competitiveness of rapping against each other. I would never entertain anything. He don't really seem like he into it too much either. ... I get so much that one day it might just come out, but not yet though. It would happen if I went completely insane and just forgot about everything that I've worked for and trying to achieve. When my bank account get low and I'm not smoking as much..." (Hot 97)
Prior to Khalifa's interview, Flocka called out the rapper's change in musical content.
"I don't know, that's deaded, it's deaded, I ain't bothering nobody," Flocka told radio host Angie Martinez. "I voiced my opinion because it's true and it's facts. I ain't bothering nobody, whatchu mean? I don't know. I don't know what's going on -- that's like me rapping gangster, I get on top and I start rapping about cookies and cream and lollipops. Whatchu gonna call me? Nice guy or a sucker? Aight then. I got this album about to drop, June 12th. That's a nice guy, he makes good music. I got cousins like his music. Eh, that's it. We're two nice guys with good music. I'm always nice." (Hot 97)
Outside of feud talks, Wiz's fiancee recently talked about their wedding planning.
"We are not getting married for a while so I might change my mind," Amber told OK! after disembarking off of Virgin America's first fight to Philadelphia from L.A., "But I actually did find the dress that I want." Amber has a "lot going on," currently working on her first album, but still finds time to browse ideas for her upcoming nuptials. "I look through bridal magazines constantly and I look for references. I look through Vogue and a lot of high fashion magazines," the Philadelphia native said before hitting up Virgin America's launch party at the Palomar Hotel. Working together to plan their wedding ceremony must be a walk in the park after Amber and the "No Sleep" singer successfully collaborated on Wiz's last mix tape. "Oh it's easy!," the socialite explained of working with Wiz, "Please, he's my best friend so it's a breeze." Congratulations, Amber and Wiz! (OK! Magazine)
